About The Design: Amor Sagrado translates to “Sacred Love” in English. The intention behind this design is to combat the way queer love and queerness in general have been depicted.
Many of us grew up being scared of having crushes on someone of the same gender. Some of us grew up with a feeling of guilt because we were taught that being gay was a sin.
We hope this design helps celebrate us and celebrate love. We are deserving of joy, deserving of love, and deserving of unconditional love.
We wanted not only to depict queer love through this design but also for the design to represent the people in our community and the people in our day-to-day lives.
Queer love is sacred. Queer love is beautiful. Queer love should be celebrated!
